American King James Version
"And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due to him. "
— Matthew 18:34, American King James Version
“And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.”
“And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due. ”
“His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.”
“And in anger his lord turned him over to the prison guards to torture him until he repaid all he owed.”
“And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt.”
“And his lord was very angry, and put him in the hands of those who would give him punishment till he made payment of all the debt.”
“And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.”
So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said to him, O you wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:
Should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due to him.
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also to you, if you from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
