American King James Version
"Should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you? "
— Matthew 18:33, American King James Version
“Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?”
“shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on thee? ”
“Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'”
“Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’”
“Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee?”
“Was it not right for you to have mercy on the other servant, even as I had mercy on you?”
“Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?”
And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said to him, O you wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:
Should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due to him.
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also to you, if you from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
