"Then Joseph, arising from sleep, did just as the Angel of the Lord had instructed him, and he accepted her as his wife. "
— Matthew 1:24, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:”
“And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took unto him his wife; ”
“Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;”
“When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord told him. He took his wife,”
“And Joseph rising up from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him, and took unto him his wife.”
“And Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had said to him, and took her as his wife;”
“Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:”
And she shall give birth to a son. And you shall call his name JESUS. For he shall accomplish the salvation of his people from their sins.”
Now all this occurred in order to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:
“Behold, a virgin shall conceive in her womb, and she shall give birth to a son. And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means: God is with us.”
Then Joseph, arising from sleep, did just as the Angel of the Lord had instructed him, and he accepted her as his wife.
And he knew her not, yet she bore her son, the firstborn. And he called his name JESUS.
