"For it is written that he has given his Angels charge over you, so that they may guard you, "
— Luke 4:10, Catholic Public Domain Version
“For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:”
“for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to guard thee: ”
“for it is written, 'He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;'”
“for it is written,‘He will command his angels concerning you, to protect you,’”
“For it is written that He hath given his angels charge over thee that they keep thee.”
“He will give his angels orders to take care of you:”
“For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:”
Therefore, if you will worship before me, all will be yours.”
And in response, Jesus said to him: “It is written: ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him alone.’ ”
And he brought him to Jerusalem, and he set him on the parapet of the temple, and he said to him: “If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here.
For it is written that he has given his Angels charge over you, so that they may guard you,
and so that they may take you into their hands, lest perhaps you may hurt your foot against a stone.”
And in response, Jesus said to him, “It is said: ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
And when all the temptation was completed, the devil withdrew from him, until a time.
