"The spears of the enemy have failed in the end, and their cities, you have destroyed. Their memory has perished with a loud noise. "
— Psalms 9:7, Catholic Public Domain Version
“But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.”
“But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment; ”
“But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.”
“But the LORD rules forever; he reigns in a just manner.”
“The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise:”
“But the Lord is King for ever: he has made ready his high seat for judging.”
“But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.”
For my enemy will be turned back. They will be weakened and perish before your face.
For you have accomplished my judgment and my cause. You have sat upon the throne that judges justice.
You have rebuked the Gentiles, and the impious one has perished. You have deleted their name in eternity and for all generations.
The spears of the enemy have failed in the end, and their cities, you have destroyed. Their memory has perished with a loud noise.
But the Lord remains in eternity. He has prepared his throne in judgment.
And he will judge the whole world in equity. He will judge the people in justice.
And the Lord has become a refuge for the poor, a helper in opportunity, in tribulation.
