American King James Version
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? "
— Matthew 7:11, American King James Version
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? ”
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”
“If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
“If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?”
“If you, then, being evil, are able to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who make requests to him?”
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. ¶
Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it. ¶
