"When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? "
— Matthew 19:25, American King James Version
“When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?”
“And when the disciples heard it, they were astonished exceedingly, saying, Who then can be saved? ”
“When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"”
“The disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said,“Then who can be saved?””
“And when they had heard this, the disciples wondered much, saying: Who then can be saved?”
“And the disciples, hearing this, were greatly surprised, saying, Who then may have salvation?”
“When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?”
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. ¶
Then said Jesus to his disciples, Truly I say to you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
But Jesus beheld them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ¶
Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore?
And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
