— Mark 11:3, NET Bible
“And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.”
“And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither. ”
“If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord needs him;' and immediately he will send him back here."”
“And if any man shall say to you: What are you doing? Say ye that the Lord hath need of him. And immediately he will let him come hither.”
“And if anyone says to you, Why are you doing this? say, The Lord has need of him and will send him back straight away.”
“And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.”
The Triumphal Entry Now as they approached Jerusalem, near Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples
and said to them,“Go to the village ahead of you. As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here.
If anyone says to you,‘Why are you doing this?’ say,‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here soon.’”
So they went and found a colt tied at a door, outside in the street, and untied it.
Some people standing there said to them,“What are you doing, untying that colt?”
They replied as Jesus had told them, and the bystanders let them go.
