“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?”

“Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?”
“The women were terribly frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them,“Why do you look for the living among the dead?”
“And as they were afraid and bowed down their countenance towards the ground, they said unto them: Why seek you the living with the dead?”
“And while their faces were bent down to the earth in fear, these said to them, Why are you looking for the living among the dead?”
“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?”
And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb.
And upon entering, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it happened that, while their minds were still confused about this, behold, two men stood beside them, in shining apparel.
Then, since they were afraid and were turning their faces toward the ground, these two said to them: “Why do you seek the living with the dead?
He is not here, for he has risen. Recall how he spoke to you, when he was still in Galilee,
saying: ‘For the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’ ”
And they called to mind his words.
