“Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?”

Day after day when I was with you in the temple courts, you did not arrest me. But this is your hour, and that of the power of darkness!”
Jesus’ Condemnation and Peter’s Denials Then they arrested Jesus, led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter was following at a distance.
When they had made a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
