— Luke 2:11, Catholic Public Domain Version
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
“for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. ”
“For there is born to you, this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
“Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord.”
“For, this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.”
“For on this day, in the town of David, a Saviour has come to birth, who is Christ the Lord.”
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
And there were shepherds in the same region, being vigilant and keeping watch in the night over their flock.
And behold, an Angel of the Lord stood near them, and the brightness of God shone around them, and they were struck with a great fear.
And the Angel said to them: “Do not be afraid. For, behold, I proclaim to you a great joy, which will be for all the people.
For today a Savior has been born for you in the city of David: he is Christ the Lord.
And this will be a sign for you: you will find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the celestial army, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will.”
