“So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. ”
“So therefore whoever of you who doesn't renounce all that he has, he can't be my disciple.”
“In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.”

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his flavor, with which shall it be seasoned?
It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
