American King James Version
"Then shall you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets. "
— Luke 13:26, American King James Version
“Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.”
“then shall ye begin to say, We did eat and drink in thy presence, and thou didst teach in our streets; ”
“Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.'”
“Then you will begin to say,‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’”
“Then you shall begin to say: We have eaten and drunk in thy presence: and thou hast taught in our streets.”
“Then you will say, We have taken food and drink with you, and you were teaching in our streets.”
“Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.”
Then said one to him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said to them, ¶
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and has shut to the door, and you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not from where you are:
Then shall you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not from where you are; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
