"And it is for them that I sanctify myself, so that they, too, may be sanctified in truth. "
— John 17:19, Catholic Public Domain Version
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. ”
“For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.”
“And I set myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart.”
“And for them do I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.”
“And for them I make myself holy, so that they may be made truly holy.”
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”
They are not of the world, just as I also am not of the world.
Sanctify them in truth. Your word is truth.
Just as you have sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
And it is for them that I sanctify myself, so that they, too, may be sanctified in truth.
But I am not praying for them only, but also for those who through their word shall believe in me.
So may they all be one. Just as you, Father, are in me, and I am in you, so also may they be one in us: so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
And the glory that you have given to me, I have given to them, so that they may be one, just as we also are one.
