“If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?”

“If you are righteous, what do you give him? Or what does he receive from your hand?”
“If you are righteous, what do you give to God, or what does he receive from your hand?”
“And if thou do justly, what shalt thou give him, or what shall he receive of thy hand?”
“If you are upright, what do you give to him? or what does he take from your hand?”

I will answer you, and your companions with you.
Look to the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you.
If you sin, what do you against him? or if your transgressions be multiplied, what do you to him?
If you be righteous, what give you him? or what receives he of your hand?
Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; and your righteousness may profit the son of man.
By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
