American King James Version
"If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hurried to deceit; "
— Job 31:5, American King James Version
“If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;”
“ If I have walked with falsehood, And my foot hath hasted to deceit ”
“"If I have walked with falsehood, and my foot has hurried to deceit”
“If I have walked in falsehood, and if my foot has hastened to deceit–”
“If I have walked in vanity, and my foot hath made haste to deceit:”
“If I have gone in false ways, or my foot has been quick in working deceit;”
“If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;”
For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hurried to deceit;
Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know my integrity.
If my step has turned out of the way, and my heart walked after my eyes, and if any blot has stuck to my hands;
Then let me sow, and let another eat; yes, let my offspring be rooted out.
