American King James Version
"Will he reprove you for fear of you? will he enter with you into judgment? "
— Job 22:4, American King James Version
“Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?”
“Is it for thy fear of him that he reproveth thee, That he entereth with thee into judgment? ”
“Is it for your piety that he reproves you, that he enters with you into judgment?”
“Is it because of your piety that he rebukes you and goes to judgment with you?”
“Shall he reprove thee for fear, and come with thee into judgment:”
“Is it because you give him honour that he is sending punishment on you and is judging you?”
“Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?”
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
Can a man be profitable to God, as he that is wise may be profitable to himself?
Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you are righteous? or is it gain to him, that you make your ways perfect?
Will he reprove you for fear of you? will he enter with you into judgment?
Is not your wickedness great? and your iniquities infinite?
For you have taken a pledge from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
You have not given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
