American King James Version
"Why then have you brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me! "
— Job 10:18, American King James Version
“Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!”
“ Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me. ”
“"'Why, then, have you brought me forth out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me.”
“An Appeal for Relief“Why then did you bring me out from the womb? I should have died and no eye would have seen me!”
“Why didst thou bring me forth out of the womb? O that I had been consumed, that eye might not see me!”
“Why then did you make me come out of my mother's body? It would have been better for me to have taken my last breath, and for no eye to have seen me,”
“Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!”
If I be wicked, woe to me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see you my affliction;
For it increases. You hunt me as a fierce lion: and again you show yourself marvelous on me.
You renew your witnesses against me, and increase your indignation on me; changes and war are against me.
Why then have you brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
Before I go from where I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
