American King James Version
"Your little ones, your wives, and your stranger that is in your camp, from the hewer of your wood to the drawer of your water: "
— Deuteronomy 29:11, American King James Version
“Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:”
“your little ones, your wives, and thy sojourner that is in the midst of thy camps, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water; ”
“your little ones, your wives, and your foreigner who is in the midst of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water;”
“your infants, your wives, and the resident foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–”
“Your children and your wives, and the stranger that abideth with thee in the camp, besides the hewers of wood, and them that bring water:”
“And your little ones, your wives, and the men of other lands who are with you in your tents, down to the wood-cutter and the servant who gets water for you:”
“Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:”
And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do. ¶
You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
Your little ones, your wives, and your stranger that is in your camp, from the hewer of your wood to the drawer of your water:
That you should enter into covenant with the LORD your God, and into his oath, which the LORD your God makes with you this day:
That he may establish you to day for a people to himself, and that he may be to you a God, as he has said to you, and as he has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
