American King James Version
"Of a foreigner you may exact it again: but that which is your with your brother your hand shall release; "
— Deuteronomy 15:3, American King James Version
“Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;”
“Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it: but whatsoever of thine is with thy brother thy hand shall release. ”
“Of a foreigner you may exact it: but whatever of your is with your brother your hand shall release.”
“You may exact payment from a foreigner, but whatever your fellow Israelite owes you, you must remit.”
“Of the foreigner or stranger thou mayst exact it: of thy countryman and neighbour thou shalt not have power to demand it again.”
“A man of another nation may be forced to make payment of his debt, but if your brother has anything of yours, let it go;”
“Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;”
At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lends something to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’s release.
Of a foreigner you may exact it again: but that which is your with your brother your hand shall release;
Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it:
Only if you carefully listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command you this day.
For the LORD your God blesses you, as he promised you: and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. ¶
