“Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.”
“Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. ”
“I asked,“Where are you going?” He replied,“To measure Jerusalem in order to determine its width and its length.””
“And I said: Whither goest thou? and he said to me: To measure Jerusalem, and to see how great is the breadth thereof, and how great the length thereof.”
“And I said to him, Where are you going? And he said to me, To take the measure of Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
Then I asked, "Where are you going?" He said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length."
Behold, the angel who talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
and said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying, 'Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.
For I,' says Yahweh, 'will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.
