"For we know that Christ, in rising up from the dead, can no longer die: death no longer has dominion over him. "
— Romans 6:9, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”
“knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death no more hath dominion over him. ”
“knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!”
“We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die again; death no longer has mastery over him.”
“Knowing that Christ, rising again from the dead, dieth now no more. Death shall no more have dominion over him.”
“Having knowledge that because Christ has come back from the dead, he will never again go down to the dead; death has no more power over him.”
“Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”
For we know this: that our former selves have been crucified together with him, so that the body which is of sin may be destroyed, and moreover, so that we may no longer serve sin.
For he who has died has been justified from sin.
Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live together with Christ.
For we know that Christ, in rising up from the dead, can no longer die: death no longer has dominion over him.
For in as much as he died for sin, he died once. But in as much as he lives, he lives for God.
And so, you should consider yourselves to be certainly dead to sin, and to be living for God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Therefore, let not sin reign in your mortal body, such that you would obey its desires.
