American King James Version
"For if Abraham were justified by works, he has whereof to glory; but not before God. "
— Romans 4:2, American King James Version
“For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.”
“For if Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward God. ”
“For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God.”
“For if Abraham was declared righteous by works, he has something to boast about– but not before God.”
“For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory, but not before God.”
“For if Abraham got righteousness by works, he has reason for pride; but not before God.”
“For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.”
What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, has found?
For if Abraham were justified by works, he has whereof to glory; but not before God.
For what says the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.
Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
