"Grief and unhappiness are in their ways. "
— Romans 3:16, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Destruction and misery are in their ways:”
“Destruction and misery are in their ways; ”
“Destruction and misery are in their ways.”
“ruin and misery are in their paths,”
“Destruction and misery in their ways:”
“Destruction and trouble are in their ways;”
“Destruction and misery are in their ways:”
Their throat is an open sepulcher. With their tongues, they have been acting deceitfully. The venom of asps is under their lips.
Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.
Their feet are swift to shed blood.
Grief and unhappiness are in their ways.
And the way of peace they have not known.
There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
But we know that whatever the law speaks, it speaks to those who are in the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the entire world may be subject to God.
