"when sinners will have risen up like grass, and when all those who work iniquity will have appeared, that they shall pass away, age after age. "
— Psalms 91:8, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”
“Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. ”
“You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.”
“Certainly you will see it with your very own eyes– you will see the wicked paid back.”
“When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:”
“Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers.”
“Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”
For you, O Lord, have delighted me with your doings, and I will exult in the works of your hands.
How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts have been made exceedingly deep.
A foolish man will not know these things, and a senseless one will not understand:
when sinners will have risen up like grass, and when all those who work iniquity will have appeared, that they shall pass away, age after age.
But you, O Lord, are the Most High for all eternity.
For behold your enemies, O Lord, for behold your enemies will perish, and all those who work iniquity will be dispersed.
And my horn will be exalted like that of the single-horned beast, and my old age will be exalted in fruitful mercy.
