"And he will judge the whole world in equity. He will judge the people in justice. "
— Psalms 9:9, Catholic Public Domain Version
“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”
“Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble; ”
“Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble.”
“Consequently the LORD provides safety for the oppressed; he provides safety in times of trouble.”
“And he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.”
“The Lord will be a high tower for those who are crushed down, a high tower in times of trouble;”
“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”
You have rebuked the Gentiles, and the impious one has perished. You have deleted their name in eternity and for all generations.
The spears of the enemy have failed in the end, and their cities, you have destroyed. Their memory has perished with a loud noise.
But the Lord remains in eternity. He has prepared his throne in judgment.
And he will judge the whole world in equity. He will judge the people in justice.
And the Lord has become a refuge for the poor, a helper in opportunity, in tribulation.
And may they hope in you, who know your name. For you have not abandoned those seeking you, Lord.
Sing a psalm to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Announce his study among the Gentiles.
