American King James Version
" Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out your anger to all generations? "
— Psalms 85:5, American King James Version
“Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?”
“Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? ”
“Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?”
“Will you stay mad at us forever? Will you remain angry throughout future generations?”
“For thou, O Lord, art sweet and mild: and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon thee.”
“Will you go on being angry with us for ever? will you keep your wrath against us through all the long generations?”
“Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?”
You have forgiven the iniquity of your people, you have covered all their sin. Selah.
You have taken away all your wrath: you have turned yourself from the fierceness of your anger.
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause your anger toward us to cease.
Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out your anger to all generations?
Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
