NASB
"They devise injustices, saying, "We are ready with a well-conceived plot"; For the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep."
— Psalms 64:6, NASB
“They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.”
“They search out iniquities; We have accomplished, say they, a diligent search: And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep. ”
“They plot injustice, saying, "We have made a perfect plan!" Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.”
“They devise unjust schemes; they disguise a well-conceived plot. Man’s inner thoughts cannot be discovered.”
“Wonderful in justice. Hear us, O God our saviour, who art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and in the sea afar off.”
“Or make discovery of our secret purpose? The design is framed with care; and the inner thought of a man, and his heart, is deep.”
“They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.”
Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword. They aimed bitter speech as their arrow,
To shoot from concealment at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him, and do not fear.
They hold fast to themselves an evil purpose; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, "Who can see them?"
They devise injustices, saying, "We are ready with a well-conceived plot"; For the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep.
But God will shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they will be wounded.
So they will make him stumble; Their own tongue is against them; All who see them will shake the head.
Then all men will fear, And they will declare the work of God, And will consider what He has done.
