King James Version
Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
— Psalms 52:3-1953, King James Version
“Thou lovest evil more than good, And lying rather than to speak righteousness. [Selah Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. God will likewise destroy thee for ever; He will take thee up, and pluck thee out of thy tent, And root thee out of the land of the living. [Selah The righteous also shall see it, and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying, Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness. But as for me, I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the lovingkindness of God for ever and ever. I will give thee thanks for ever, because thou hast done it; And I will hope in thy name, for it is good, in the presence of thy saints. ”
“You love evil more than good, lying rather than speaking the truth. Selah. You love all devouring words, you deceitful tongue. God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah. The righteous also will see it, and fear, and laugh at him, saying, "Behold, this is the man who didn't make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness." But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God's house. I trust in God's loving kindness forever and ever. I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it. I will hope in your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints. For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Mahalath." A contemplation by David.”
“You love evil more than good, lies more than speaking the truth.(Selah) You love to use all the words that destroy, and the tongue that deceives. Yet God will make you a permanent heap of ruins. He will scoop you up and remove you from your home; he will uproot you from the land of the living.(Selah) When the godly see this, they will be filled with awe, and will mock the evildoer, saying: “Look, here is the man who would not make God his protector! He trusted in his great wealth and was confident about his plans to destroy others.” But I am like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God; I continually trust in God’s loyal love. I will continually thank you when you execute judgment; I will rely on you, for your loyal followers know you are good.”
“God looked down from heaven on the children of men: to see if there were any that did understand, or did seek God. All have gone aside, they are become unprofitable together, there is none that doth good, no not one. Shall not all the workers of iniquity know, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They have not called upon God: there have they trembled for fear, where there was no fear. For God hath scattered the bones of them that please men: they have been confounded, because God hath despised them. Who will give out of Sion the salvation of Israel? when God shall bring back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. ”
“You have more love for evil than for good, for deceit than for works of righteousness. (Selah.) Destruction is in all your words, O false tongue. But God will put an end to you for ever; driving you out from your tent, uprooting you from the land of the living. (Selah.) The upright will see it with fear, and will say, laughing at you: See, this is the man who did not make God his strength, but had faith in his goods and his property, and made himself strong in his wealth. But I am like a branching olive-tree in the house of God; I have put my faith in his mercy for ever and ever. I will give you praise without end for what you have done; I will give honour to your name before your saints, for it is good.”

I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. ”
Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
