"Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, When the glory of his house is increased: "
— Psalms 49:16, American Standard Version
“Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;”
“Don't be afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased.”
“Do not be afraid when a man becomes rich and his wealth multiplies!”
“But to the sinner God hath said: Why dost thou declare my justices, and take my covenant in thy mouth?”
“Have no fear when wealth comes to a man, and the glory of his house is increased;”
“Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;”

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me. [Selah
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, When the glory of his house is increased:

Though while he lived he blessed his soul (And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself),
He shall go to the generation of his fathers; They shall never see the light.
