When our sons shall be as plants grown up in their youth, And our daughters as corner-stones hewn after the fashion of a palace; Whenour garners are full, affording all manner of store, Andour sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; Whenour oxen are well laden; When there isno breaking in, and no going forth, And no outcry in our streets: Happy is the people that is in such a case; Yea, happy is the people whose God is Jehovah. ”

“whose mouths speak deceit, Whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you. You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword. Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace. Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields. Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets. Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is Yahweh. A praise psalm by David.”

“who speak lies, and make false promises. O God, I will sing a new song to you! Accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, I will sing praises to you, the one who delivers kings, and rescued David his servant from a deadly sword. Grab me and rescue me from the power of foreigners, who speak lies, and make false promises. Then our sons will be like plants, that quickly grow to full size. Our daughters will be like corner pillars, carved like those in a palace. Our storehouses will be full, providing all kinds of food. Our sheep will multiply by the thousands and fill our pastures. Our cattle will be weighted down with produce. No one will break through our walls, no one will be taken captive, and there will be no terrified cries in our city squares. How blessed are the people who experience these things! How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD!”

“The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy. The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Let all thy works, O Lord, praise thee: and let thy saints bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom: and shall tell of thy power: To make thy might known to the sons of men: and the glory of the magnificence of thy kingdom. Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages: and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words: and holy in all his works. The Lord lifteth up all that fall: and setteth up all that are cast down. The eyes of all hope in thee, O Lord: and thou givest them meat in due season. Thou openest thy hand, and fillest with blessing every living creature. The Lord is just in all his ways: and holy in all his works. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him: to all that call upon him in truth. He will do the will of them that fear him: and he will hear their prayer, and save them. The Lord keepeth all them that love him; but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name forever; yea, for ever and ever. ”

“In whose mouths are false words, and whose right hand is a right hand of deceit. I will make a new song to you, O God; I will make melody to you on an instrument of ten cords. It is God who gives salvation to kings; and who kept his servant David from the wounding sword. Make me free, and take me out of the hands of strange men, in whose mouths are false words, and whose right hand is a right hand of deceit. Our sons are like tall young plants; and our daughters like the shining stones of a king's house; Our store-houses are full of all good things; and our sheep give birth to thousands and ten thousands in our fields. Our oxen are well weighted down; our cows give birth safely; there is no going out, and there is no cry of sorrow in our open places. Happy is the nation whose ways are so ordered: yes, happy is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
