— Psalms 142:1, World English Bible
“I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.”
“ I cry with my voice unto Jehovah; With my voice unto Jehovah do I make supplication. ”
“A well-written song by David, when he was in the cave; a prayer. To the LORD I cry out; to the LORD I plead for mercy.”
“A psalm of David, when his son Absalom pursued him. Hear, O Lord, my prayer: give ear to my supplication in thy truth: hear me in thy justice.”
“ The sound of my cry went up to the Lord; with my voice I made my prayer for grace to the Lord.”
“I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.”
I cry with my voice to Yahweh. With my voice, I ask Yahweh for mercy.
I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my path. In the way in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.
Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.
