NASB
"you shall take five shekels apiece, per head; you shall take them in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs),"
— Numbers 3:47, NASB
“Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)”
“thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll; after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs): ”
“you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; after the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs):”
“collect five shekels for each one individually; you are to collect this amount in the currency of the sanctuary shekel(this shekel is twenty gerahs).”
“Thou shalt take five sicles for every bead, according to the weight of the sanctuary. A sicle hath twenty obols.”
“Will be five shekels for every one, by the scale of the holy place (the shekel is twenty gerahs);”
“Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)”
Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
"Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel and the cattle of the Levites. And the Levites shall be Mine; I am the LORD.
"For the ransom of the of the firstborn of the sons of Israel who are in excess beyond the Levites,
you shall take five shekels apiece, per head; you shall take them in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs),
and give the money, the ransom of those who are in excess among them, to Aaron and to his sons."
So Moses took the ransom money from those who were in excess, beyond those ransomed by the Levites;
from the firstborn of the sons of Israel he took the money in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary, 1,365.
