American King James Version
"And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; "
— Leviticus 11:14, American King James Version
“And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;”
“and the kite, and the falcon after its kind, ”
“and the red kite, any kind of black kite,”
“the kite, the buzzard of any kind,”
“And the kite, and the vulture, according to their kind.”
“And the kite and the falcon, and birds of that sort;”
“And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;”
They shall be even an abomination to you; you shall not eat of their flesh, but you shall have their carcasses in abomination.
Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination to you. ¶
And these are they which you shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
Every raven after his kind;
And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
