American King James Version
"And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. "
— John 9:14, American King James Version
“And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.”
“Now it was the sabbath on the day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. ”
“It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.”
“(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud and caused him to see was a Sabbath.)”
“Now it was the sabbath, when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.”
“Now the day on which the earth was mixed by Jesus and the man's eyes were made open was the Sabbath.”
“And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.”
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
Then said they to him, Where is he? He said, I know not. ¶
They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and do see.
Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keeps not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
They say to the blind man again, What say you of him, that he has opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
