“They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?”
“They answered unto him, We are Abraham’s seed, and have never yet been in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? ”
“They answered him, "We are Abraham's seed, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, 'You will be made free?'"”
“They answered him: We are the seed of Abraham: and we have never been slaves to any man. How sayest thou: You shall be free?”
“They said to him in answer, We are Abraham's seed and have never been any man's servant: why do you say, You will become free?”

While he was saying these things, many people believed in him.
Abraham’s Children and the Devil’s Children Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples
and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Jesus answered them,“I tell you the solemn truth, everyone who practices sin is a slave of sin.
The slave does not remain in the family forever, but the son remains forever.
So if the son sets you free, you will be really free.
