"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. "
— John 6:57, Catholic Public Domain Version
“As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.”
“As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me. ”
“As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me.”
“Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who consumes me will live because of me.”
“He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me: and I in him.”
“As the living Father has sent me, and I have life because of the Father, even so he who takes me for his food will have life because of me.”
“As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.”
And so, Jesus said to them: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
Just as the living Father has sent me and I live because of the Father, so also whoever eats me, the same shall live because of me.
This is the bread that descends from heaven. It is not like the manna that your fathers ate, for they died. Whoever eats this bread shall live forever.”
He said these things when he was teaching in the synagogue at Capernaum.
