American King James Version
"But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that you might be saved. "
— John 5:34, American King James Version
“But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.”
“But the witness which I receive is not from man: howbeit I say these things, that ye may be saved. ”
“But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.”
“(I do not accept human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)”
“But I receive not testimony from man: but I say these things, that you may be saved.”
“But I have no need of a man's witness: I only say these things so that you may have salvation.”
“But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.”
If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. ¶
There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true.
You sent to John, and he bore witness to the truth.
But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that you might be saved.
He was a burning and a shining light: and you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. ¶
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent me.
And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
