— John 2:18, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?”
“The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? ”
“The Jews therefore answered him, "What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?"”
“So then the Jewish leaders responded,“What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things?””
“The Jews, therefore, answered, and said to him: What sign dost thou shew unto us, seeing thou dost these things?”
“Then the Jews put this question to him: What sign of authority have you to give us, seeing that you do these things?”
“Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?”

And truly, his disciples were reminded that it is written: “Zeal for your house consumes me.”
Then the Jews responded and said to him, “What sign can you show to us, that you may do these things?”

Then the Jews said, “This temple has been built up over forty-six years, and you will raise it up in three days?”
Yet he was speaking about the Temple of his body.
