American King James Version
"Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come on him, went forth, and said to them, Whom seek you? "
— John 18:4, American King James Version
“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?”
“Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were coming upon him, went forth, and saith unto them, Whom seek ye? ”
“Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went forth, and said to them, "Who are you looking for?"”
“Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, came and asked them,“Who are you looking for?””
“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth and said to them: Whom seek ye?”
“Then Jesus, having knowledge of everything which was coming on him, went forward and said to them, Who are you looking for?”
“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?”
When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus often resorted thither with his disciples.
Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, comes thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come on him, went forth, and said to them, Whom seek you?
They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus says to them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
As soon then as he had said to them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
Then asked he them again, Whom seek you? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.
