"To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, to him it is sin."
— James 4:17, World English Bible
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. ”
“To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. ”
“So whoever knows what is good to do and does not do it is guilty of sin.”
“To him therefore who knoweth to do good and doth it not, to him it is sin. ”
“The man who has knowledge of how to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. ”
Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.
To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, to him it is sin.
