American King James Version
"But now you rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. "
— James 4:16, American King James Version
“But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”
“But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil. ”
“But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.”
“But as it is, you boast about your arrogant plans. All such boasting is evil.”
“But now you rejoice in your arrogancies. All such rejoicing is wicked.”
“But now you go on glorying in your pride: and all such glorying is evil.”
“But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”
Go to now, you that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
For that you ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
But now you rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.
