"Joy in Trials My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials,"
— James 1:2, NET Bible
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;”
“ Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations; ”
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,”
“My brethren, count it all joy, when you shall fall into divers temptations:”
“Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort;”
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;”
¶ Salutation From James, a slave of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad. Greetings!
Joy in Trials My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials,
because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything.
But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.
