"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. "
— Isaiah 45:7, American King James Version
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.”
“I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things. ”
“I form the light, and create darkness. I make peace, and create calamity. I am Yahweh, who does all these things.”
“I am the one who forms light and creates darkness; the one who brings about peace and creates calamity. I am the LORD, who accomplishes all these things.”
“I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things.”
“I am the giver of light and the maker of the dark; causing blessing, and sending troubles; I am the Lord, who does all these things.”
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.”
For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me. ¶
I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded you, though you have not known me:
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
Woe to him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What make you? or your work, He has no hands?
Woe to him that says to his father, What beget you? or to the woman, What have you brought forth?
