NASB
"The pride of man will be humbled And the loftiness of men will be abased; And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,"
— Isaiah 2:17, NASB
“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”
“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day. ”
“The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.”
“Proud men will be humiliated, arrogant men will be brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.”
“And the loftiness of men shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be humbled, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”
“And the high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low: and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.”
“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”
Against all the lofty mountains, Against all the hills that are lifted up,
Against every high tower, Against every fortified wall,
Against all the ships of Tarshish And against all the beautiful craft.
The pride of man will be humbled And the loftiness of men will be abased; And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,
But the idols will completely vanish.
Men will go into caves of the rocks And into holes of the ground Before the terror of the LORD And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble.
In that day men will cast away to the moles and the bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship,
