"Our message about him is great, and difficult to explain when speaking, because you have been made feeble when listening. "
— Hebrews 5:11, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.”
“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard of interpretation, seeing ye are become dull of hearing. ”
“About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.”
“The Need to Move on to Maturity On this topic we have much to say and it is difficult to explain, since you have become sluggish in hearing.”
“Of whom we have much to say and hard to be intelligibly uttered: because you are become weak to hear.”
“Of whom we have much to say which it is hard to make clear, because you are slow of hearing.”
“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.”
And although, certainly, he is the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things that he suffered.
And having reached his consummation, he was made, for all who are obedient to him, the cause of eternal salvation,
having been called by God to be the High Priest, according to the order of Melchizedek.
Our message about him is great, and difficult to explain when speaking, because you have been made feeble when listening.
For even though it is the time when you ought to be teachers, you are still lacking, so that you must be taught the things that are the basic elements of the Word of God, and so you have been made like those who are in need of milk, and not of solid food.
For anyone who is still feeding on milk is still unskillful in the Word of Justice; for he is like an infant.
But solid food is for those who are mature, for those who, by practice, have sharpened their mind, so as to discern good from evil.
