“Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the hinder part westward. And he said unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass-offering and the sin-offering, and where they shall bake the meal-offering; that they bring them not forth into the outer court, to sanctify the people. Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court. In the four corners of the court there were courts inclosed, forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four in the corners were of one measure. And there was a wall round about in them, round about the four, and boiling-places were made under the walls round about. Then said he unto me, These are the boiling-houses, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people. ”

“Then he brought me through the entrance, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests which faced north. There I saw a place at the extreme western end. He said to me,“This is the place where the priests will boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where they will bake the grain offering, so that they do not bring them out to the outer court to transmit holiness to the people.” Then he brought me out to the outer court and led me past the four corners of the court, and I noticed that in every corner of the court there was a court. In the four corners of the court were small courts, 70 feet in length and 52½ feet in width; the four were all the same size. There was a row of masonry around each of the four courts, and places for boiling offerings were made under the rows all around. Then he said to me,“These are the houses for boiling, where the ministers of the temple boil the sacrifices of the people.””

“And he brought me in by the entry that was at the side of the gate, into the chambers of the sanctuary that were for the priests, which looked toward the north. And there was a place bending to the west. And he said to me: This is the place where the priests shall boil the sin offering, and the trespass offering: where they shall dress the sacrifice, that they may not bring it out into the outward court, and the people be sanctified. And he brought me into the outward court, and he led me about by the four corners of the court: and behold there was a little court in the corner of the court, to every corner of the court there was a little court. In the four corners of the court were little courts disposed, forty cubits long, and thirty broad, all the four were of one measure. And there was a wall round about compassing the four little courts, and there were kitchens built under the rows round about. And he said to me: This is the house of the kitchens wherein the ministers of the house of the Lord shall boil the victims of the people. ”

“And he took me through by the way in at the side of the doorway into the holy rooms which are the priests', looking to the north: and I saw a place at the side of them to the west. And he said to me, This is the place where the offering for error and the sin-offering are to be cooked in water by the priests, and where the meal offering is to be cooked in the oven; so that they may not be taken out into the outer square to make the people holy. And he took me out into the outer square and made me go by the four angles of the square; and I saw that in every angle of the open square there was a space shut in. In the four angles there were spaces walled in, forty cubits long and thirty wide; the four were of the same size. And there was a line of wall all round inside them, round all four, and boiling-places were made under it all round about. And he said to me, These are the boiling-rooms, where the offering of the people is cooked by the servants of the house.”

Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court. In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure. And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about. Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people. ”
