American King James Version
"If when he sees the sword come on the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; "
— Ezekiel 33:3, American King James Version
“If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;”
“if, when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; ”
“if, when he sees the sword come on the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;”
“He sees the sword coming against the land, blows the trumpet, and warns the people,”
“And he sees the sword coming upon the land, and sound the trumpet, and tell the people:”
“If, when he sees the sword coming on the land, by sounding the horn he gives the people news of their danger;”
“If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;”
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them, When I bring the sword on a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
If when he sees the sword come on the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and takes not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be on his own head.
He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be on him. But he that takes warning shall deliver his soul.
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. ¶
