NASB
"The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person."
— Ecclesiastes 12:13, NASB
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
“This isthe end of the matter; all hath been heard: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. ”
“This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.”
“Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: Fear God and keep his commandments, because this is the whole duty of man.”
“Let us all hear together the conclusion of the discourse. Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is all man:”
“This is the last word. All has been said. Have fear of God and keep his laws; because this is right for every man.”
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
The Preacher sought to find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly.
The words of wise men are like goads, and masters of these collections are like well-driven nails; they are given by one Shepherd.
But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.
The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.
