"being strengthened in every virtue, in accord with the power of his glory, with all patience and longsuffering, with joy, "
— Colossians 1:11, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;”
“strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy; ”
“strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;”
“being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully”
“Strengthened with all might according to the power of his glory, in all patience and longsuffering with joy,”
“Full of strength in the measure of the great power of his glory, so that you may undergo all troubles with joy;”
“Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;”
And he has also manifested to us your love in the Spirit.
Then, too, from the day when we first heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and requesting that you be filled with the knowledge of his will, with all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
so that you may walk in a manner worthy of God, being pleasing in all things, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God,
being strengthened in every virtue, in accord with the power of his glory, with all patience and longsuffering, with joy,
giving thanks to God the Father, who has made us worthy to have a share in the portion of the saints, in the light.
For he has rescued us from the power of darkness, and he has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,
in whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins.
